When back to dans the following weekend and it was sold. I managed to scrounge up 200 hundred dollars working double shifts at a restaurant i was working at and talked my dad into forking over the extra 400 i would need to aquire this guitar till i could work it off. I was about 16 years old at the time and had just sunk a huge amount of money (for me at the time) into late 60s marshall head. To this day i have never played a guitar that had a comprable feel in my hands. The sound from this tele was absoloutley incredible and the neck was like a stick of butter. The body was badly abused, had been repainted many times. One visit Dan had a beat up, and i mean beat to **** 65 tele with an A neck. I would have them drop me off there while they went about there business and i was in heaven. When i was a kid and just getting into old guitars and fenders especially i use to hang out all day at Chelsea 2nd hand guitar on 23rd street everytime my family would go into the city. Theres one particular tele ill keep searching for till my dying day.
